Australia's most iconic car now has the perfect plate to match. Selling in 2011 at a Shannon's auction for $15.5K, this plate is instantly recognisable to a wide array of customers, and particularly owners and admirers of the mighty 1971 Ford XY GTHO Phase III. A bloody legend on Aussie roads.
These days, a good XY is fetching in excess of $1M, and we can understand why - those 351 V8 engines are nothing short of magnificent.
